1. Purpose of the Service
Searcy Residents Directory is a privately run reference to public rolls, indexes, and historical collections concerning Searcy, Arkansas. It does not host official records and has no connection with a government office, court, library, or custodian.
2. Acceptable Use Rules
All use must be lawful. You may not use the service or information reached through it to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. No Consumer Reports
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither our content nor results from a linked search service constitute consumer reports. Separate terms and privacy policies govern government portals, outside services, and sponsored search tools. Their content, uptime, prices, and data practices are not under our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages tied to the service or any linked source, including reliance on a retrieved record.
7. Your Indemnity
You agree to protect and hold the site's operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from misuse or breach of these terms.
8. Copyright and Content
Copyright protects the original writing, logo, layout, and design. You may link to a page or quote a short attributed excerpt. Full-page republication and systematic copying are prohibited.
9. Term Changes
A revised version may be posted here. Use after publication of a revision means the new terms are accepted.
10. Restricting Access
We may block or limit access, without notice, when a user abuses the service or violates these rules.
11. Arkansas Governing Law
Arkansas law governs these terms without applying conflict-of-law rules. References to access rights for public agency records concern the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act of 1967, Ark. Code Ann. §§25-19-101 through 25-19-111, subject to its limits and other record-specific laws.
12. Severability
If one provision cannot be enforced, all remaining provisions continue to apply.
